Shaun Livingston pictured above was considered by some “guru” a few years back as the second best third-grader in the Nation.
As “crazy” as this may have seemed at the time, about 8 or 9 years later Shaun made a prophet out of this guy! He ended up after committing to Duke…going straight to the league as a 4th round pick to the L.A. Clippers.
Shaun played a vital role in just his second season with the Clippers in helping lead them to the playoffs and advancing to the 2nd. round.
Bill “Flash” Flanagan is a former Division I basketball coach
who conducts camps and events.

FLASH'S HOOP FACTS
Flash has a unique background as a scout having been a major college coach. He is friends with many colleges coaches and is well aware of what the colleges are looking for in their athletes. Flash has a keen sense of what the student needs as well as what the school is looking for in their prospective player. He has placed student-athletes in colleges at all levels.
The stated philosophy of FLASH'S HOOPS is to help student-athletes get the necessary exposure they need to have the opportunity to play and be a student at the next level.
Bill “Flash” Flanagan started out as a junior high and later a head high School coach in the suburbs of Chicago He than reached a dream of his by becoming a D-1 coach while still in his twenties as a full time assistant at East Carolina University and later became an assistant at nationally rated Illinois State University under Will Robinson and Gene Smithson and starring Doug Collins & 14 NBA draftees in all.
Seven-footer Jeff Wilkins, who played 8 years in the NBA for the Utah Jazz and the San Antonio Spurs, played for Flash both in high school and college at Elgin HS in Illinois and Illinois State respectively. At Utah he played with both Karl Malone and John Stockton.
Jeff was a Parade Magazine All-American selection his senior year at Elgin H.S. and led his team to the IHSA Class AA state finals. Wilkins than went on to lead Illinois State University to the “Big Apple” and a great performance at Madison Square Garden in the NIT as an All-American his senior year!
