Shaun Livingston says of Flash, having played in numerous of Flash’s exposure camps from the 6th grade right up to the fall of his senior year at Peoria Central H.S., “I was one of the kids that benefited the most from Flash’s camps. They gave me a chance to compete against the best from the Midwest and provided opportunities to be seen by many college coaches playing against all the top players even at an early age!”
Shaun is a natural born leader. All of the rest of the kids always wanted to be on his side. This created a bit of a problem in both high school and AAU basketball at times especially his junior and senior years. Other kids especially the outstanding ones wanted to move so that they could be on the same team as Shaun was on. The reason behind all of this was here you had a superstar in Shaun who didn’t act like most superstars! Shaun made every one who played with him better because he was such an unselfish player. Even the great Michael Jordan had to learn this when he was with the Bulls. Magic and Bird were like Shaun…it just came natural to them!
