Taylor Bell has been the long time and legendary prep sports editor of the Chicago Sun-Times. Anyone interested in high school sports and especially college coaches are avid readers of his columns as he is known as an authority on prep sports for over 40 years. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Illinois and has been a writer and sports prep editor for the Champaign Urbana Courier, the St. Louis Globe Democrat, the Chicago Daily News and the Chicago Sun-Times. Flash and Taylor have know each other since Flash's days of coaching prep basketball in the late 60's and early 70's at Rich Central and Elgin H.S. Taylor has been the author of a number of books including "Sweet Charlie, Dike, Cazzie, and Bobby Joe " (the 4 legends-Charlie Brown, Dike Eddleman, Cazzie Russell and Bobby Joe Mason).
